Having my own band and having a hit record in the 60's was
just the beginning of my career. I later became a recording
engineer and did records for the likes of Paul Simon, Rod
Stewart, Bob Segar, Willie Nelson, and many, many more.
I was on the
road for 10 years playing with Charlie Rich, Jerry Lee
Lewis, Ace Cannon and decided just to do my own thing.
I burned out on the performing end but wanted to stay in the
music business, so I taught myself how to engineer and was
very blessed to have had a very successful career as an
engineer.
I worked with
some of the top acts in the business over the years and have
been on 300 albums from beginning to end and no telling how
many audio mixes for videos.
Our recording of Let It All Hang Out, sold over a million copies and made it in the top
3 of top 100 in 1967 Billboard and Cash Box magazines.
