Little Rock Central
High School was completed in 1927, the majestic brick building
with cast stone trim was the largest high school building in
the United States. In 1998 it was designated a National
Historic Site. In 2001, extensive rehabilitation and repair
work began on the historic building. Western was awarded the
contract for the exterior renovation. Western's scope of work
included repointing the masonry on the parapet walls, patching
the decorative capstone with matching stone finish, replacing
the sealant on all exterior openings and repairs to window
lintels. |
