1957 Little Rock Central High Tigers

Pushing their winning streak to 33 games, the Tigers were seriously challenged only in a 15-6 victory over Istrouma High of Baton Rouge, La.  At the end of the season, the National Sports Services of Minneapolis call them the No. 1 team in the country, and the Sporting News hailed running back Bruce Fullerton as the National Player of the Year.
